The 1 Shine Youth Center offers a variety of programs for youth and families, in addition to rental space for meetings, rehearsals, and special events.
In 2012, Kehli and Terence Berry created 1 Shine Youth, a non-profit organization committed to providing quality youth programming to the youth of Compton, Long Beach, and surrounding cities. We create an individual learning plan for every child that combines direct instruction, group instruction, and an independent learning guide that works for your child's developmental needs. With a passion for youth development, leadership, and performing arts, we provide a safe-haven to keep the youth off of the streets and provide resources for them to help them enhance the quality of their life as they matriculate into young adulthood. We use performing arts as a leadership skill and program and perform on national television, stadiums, studios, and events all over the country. We are able to bring joy to nurses in the hospitals, soldiers at military bases and so many more performing opportunities that inspire and lighten people's moods, especially during this global hardship.
Please contact us about our performances, company, and federal contracting abilities.
